Product attribution today is a tedious, time-consuming process that Merchandisers spend too much of their valuable time on. To enrich products based on features, use, and occasions requires manual action and therefore isn't scaleable.
Through AI, much of this process can be automated or enhanced. AI can unlock attributes from images, through deep learning we can teach machines to identify colors, textures, cuts, and other features of a product. AI can also make sense of text in product descriptions and user reviews to extract and infer attributes based on the way the products are described.
